Sometimes a company wants to stay with the current platform (i.e. on premises) but wants their system transformed from the current language or databases into a new language or database. An example of a project where we did this is Wells Fargo Advisors. They had over 42 applications to support their portfolio consultants. The applications were in .Net, Java, JavaScript, etc. They ran all this under Smart Station from Thomson Reuters.

Our job was to build a SPA to hold SPA(s) that would convert this set of applications into a consolidated front end. We all agreed on Angular 2. We build the SPA to hold the SPA’s and the framework SPA for the individual products. On the back end we used MVC and rest services in .Net to handle the communication to the SPAs.

  • Created a system that is easily expanded, easy to modify features and functionality, and easy to add features and functionality.

This application had to take the client profile and generate the audit program for the accountant to follow. Account rules for all countries covered had to be developed. Also, they wanted the Secretary of State’s office to be able to accept submissions and revisions of corporations online. We designed an Oracle 12c Rac database for the ETL from the mainframe. Then we designed and built a .Net back end to support the queries and data input. The front end was written in Angular.
